Our journey from a small initiative to a statewide social organisation.
Our Story
From a shared belief to a statewide movement
Humaipur Prakash Foundation was born from a simple belief: that an informed and responsible citizenry is the foundation of a just society. On 27 May 2017, a group of committed individuals came together to create an organisation that would champion rights awareness, civic responsibility, education and environmental sustainability.
Registered under the West Bengal Societies Registration Act, 1961 on 5 June 2018, the foundation quickly grew from a local initiative into a statewide movement. Today, with over 700 members and 24 operational units spanning 17 districts of West Bengal, we continue to work towards building an inclusive society.

Foundation begins
Humaipur Prakash Foundation is established on 27 May 2017 with a mission to serve society.
- 2018
Official registration
Registered under the West Bengal Societies Registration Act, 1961 on 5 June 2018.
- 2019
District expansion
Operations expand to multiple districts with the formation of district-level units.
- 2021
Community programmes
Launch of Rudhiradhara, Annadan and other flagship social welfare programmes.

Statewide initiatives
