Annadan:
Herein, anna means not only rice but all kinds of essential foods. Food is the god. Because only food can save life. So feeding hungry is the best charity. Annadan or food distribution is the biggest programme of our organisation, which we can practically carry on every day of the year.
When a poor starving family asks for help, we enlisted their name in our Annadan Credit Card first and help them with a package of different basic food items including rice or wheat/flour for a long duration. The numbers of such families are mentioned in the following statistics.
In times of any calamity, we launch community kitchen or mass food distribution centre, from where either cooked food or food items including food grains are distributed either from camps or it distributed door to door.
